Jennifer Rice, Physical Therapist
Jennifer L. Rice is a distinguished physical therapist with over two decades of experience dedicated to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration. A Pennsylvania native, Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University in 1998, where she became a Certified Athletic Trainer. Building on her passion for human movement and rehabilitation, she pursued advanced studies at MCP Hahnemann University, earning both a Master’s and Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Her doctoral dissertation focused on a neuromuscular motor control dysfunction as a cause of lumbar instability and low back pain.
Â
Jennifer’s career spans a variety of roles and settings, demonstrating her versatility and leadership in the field. She began her professional journey at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Clinic, where she gained extensive experience treating diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. Over the years, she has worked with Lancaster Orthopedic Group and Argires, Becker & Westphal, contributing to the growth and qualify of outpatient physical therapy services in Lancaster and Ephrata, Pennsylvania. In these roles, she successfully managed complex caseloads, trained staff, and developed customized treatment plans for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations.
Â
From 2015 to 2017, Jennifer served as the Physical Therapy Manager at Brain Orthopedic Spine Specialists, where she collaborated with surgeons and physicians to manage post-operative and non-surgical orthopedic and spinal care. Her role included opening new physical therapy offices, improving access to patient-centered care and writing postsurgical protocols.
Â
Prior to joining the Made New team in 2025, she provided outstanding orthopedic outpatient care at Drevna-Hudson, where she expanded her expertise in promoting the prevention, treatment, and education of osteoporosis within the local community. As part of her ongoing commitment to women's health, Jennifer also managed PTA-guided programs and classes for young female athletes.
Â
In addition to her clinical work, Jennifer believes in giving back to the community. When she's not advocating for fundraising efforts for the non-profit Children’s Dyslexic Center of Lancaster, she organizes food drives for local churches and coordinates donations for animal shelters. Jennifer balances her fulfilling career with quality time spent with family and friends. She lives in Lititz with her husband, Chad, their three children—Connor, Lillian, and Cian—and their two beloved dogs, Isa, a Rottweiler, and Phoebe, a French Bulldog.
Â
Jennifer enjoys supporting her children’s academic and athletic pursuits, cheering them on in wrestling, lacrosse, and football.
